Sheela Venero is a Young Republican from South Florida. She believes in States rights, smaller government, personal responsibility, fiscal conservatism and maintaining a strong national defense. In a time where some individuals go too far right or too far left, Sheela maintains a well-balanced and common sense approach to politics. Currently she is the immediate past president of the Broward County Young Republicans, Secretary of the Broward Republican Executive Committee and a member of numerous Republican clubs around the County. Her political goal is to change the brand imaging of the Republican Party starting with our message and encompassing our ability to reach out to Americans. For these reasons, Sheela concentrates in new media, community outreach and Middle Eastern affairs.
In 2008, Sheela worked for the Republican Party of Florida as the Victory Director for the Southeast Region. In 2009 she began working for Senator George LeMieux (Fl-R) but the 2010 gubernatorial election was just too important to sit on the sidelines for. Sheela joined the staff of the Rick Scott campaign on August 25th and has stayed with the Governor through the Inauguration where she was Site Advance for the Swearing-In Ceremony and now represents the Governor as his Special Assistant in Southeast Florida.
